SAM WEIS

12-string guitar virtuoso.  Composer. Singer/songwriter.

Born and raised in Iowa, Sam has been playing guitar since she was seven.

Sam has made her mark in standard jazz, hard rock (with two touring power trios), steel guitar and modern acoustic 12-string.

Her rich alto voice showcases her insightful lyrics and

solid songwriting.

Performing in the U.S. and Canada Sam has shared the stage with
guitar greats Leo Kottke, Robbie Basho and John Fahey.  She is
the winner of two NAMA (Northwest Area Music Awards) awards for her 12-string guitar work and recipient
of two ASCAP Special Awards for songwriting.

Sam’s most recent recording, “Paradox”, can be heard on Pandora.

She has resided in Eastern Iowa, Chicago, Seattle, Washington State’s Kitsap Peninsula, and The Florida Keys
